Hello! I’m Lori,

an adventure seeking painter, metal sculptor and photographer. I currently live in the vibrant city of Charlotte, NC, with my husband and son. Nature is my biggest inspiration for my paintings and sculptures. I love to use my camera as a creative guide for my paintings when i’m hiking through canyons or cruising on my paddleboard.

Primarily I paint on canvas, but I also experiment with a variety of mediums like metal, wood, fiber and clay. I was traditionally taught as a Fine Art painter at Edinboro University, but also found a love for metal sculpture. Currently I work in both realms, with a painting and a sculpture always in progress.

My family and I live a very active lifestyle which is also translates into my work. We race BMX, ride motocross, paddleboard and practice yoga. I have a passion for the exhilarating process of metal work, but I also seek balance through the meditative act of painting.
